THE_FEELING_OF_BEING_2020
'The Feeling of Being' is a digital body of work consisting in an assemblage of short performance, micro poems, GIF, and digital compositions. The specificity of the format mirrors how the work has been made, and how my process of creating and performing has shifted during the lockdown, dealing with short attention span and  physical restrictions.

More than ever we feel our spatial boundaries becoming simultaneously more intense and  blurry, we found ourself in a physical confinement, we feel our flesh, we desperately reach our digital sphere, we balance our mental space while we are dismissing our natural environment.

Reflecting on how we relate between self, space and environment, The Feeling of Being' ponders on the open question: What are we in the process of becoming?

The work has emerged  in participating in the online project 30works30days run by 120collective and supported by Artquest during the lockdown Covid 19. (The online project required  making 1 work per day during 30 days ). It was then selected by the online exhibition space Skelf for the exhibition Ways and Means.

THE FEELING OF BEING EMPTY

LIKE THE CAVITY OF THE OYSTER

VISCOUS AND SHINY

ANXIOUS AND WOBBLY

THE KIND OF CAVITY

THAT ONLY SHINES IN THE DARK

DEAD AND ... EMPTY

Sound composition made in collaboration with William Martin during the pandemic.

THE FEELING OF DISTORTION

OF BEING MULTIPLE AND APART

OF BEING SEPARATED FROM ME

SOMETIMES FROM YOU

THE FEELING OF NOT KNOWING

NOT KNOWING

DOES THIS LIMB BELONG TO 'WHO'?

'Digigetation': constructed
word as the encounter of digitalization and revegetation. Meaning, the act of digitally decolonizing the natural environment as an ethereal compensation to the loss of the planet.
